Connection and inspiration is a key part of our ethos so we want to carry on bringing you all the positive news possible on the weekly. 

This weekend I completed my first HYROX & WOW …what an experience.

Even as a spectator seeing the thousands of people cheering and motivating each other to succeed just left everyone on a high.

I signed myself up only after taking one Hyrox class as a big challenge! I did it in honour of my mum who we lost nearly 2 years ago.

It is time for us to all to set new challenges to help us blast through any January blues.

There are always reasons not too with kids, endless to do lists, work etc… but you need to PRIORITISE YOU!

🧘‍♂️ Free Yoga Session!

I started teaching weekly yoga again last week at Barre Sculpt Congleton and so excited for this Thursdays class which will be themed around IMBOLC.

This time is the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox.

It marks the awakening move towards Spring and we wanted to give our top tips for this Winter season. 

💪 Our Top 3 Hacks

INVEST IN YOU 

As we can see the Spring coming in nature with the daffodils and snowdrops bursting up from the fertile soil. This is a time for action and new beginnings, a time for embracing the new start that nature is offering us.

But to make way for the new, we need to let go of the old, that which no longer serves us – we need to have a good old fashioned spring clean, not just of our physical environment but of our inner space too. 

Once you loose someone it puts things into perspective that we need to keep investing to be the most healthy, happy version of you. So we can show up and be the best mother, sister, friend… There is every reason telling you to! So if you’re feeling sluggish it’s as you need to invest in you . 

Try our weekly Yoga: FIRST CLASS FREE 

SET A CHALLENGE 

This will be different for all of us. Perhaps a 5K Park Run . Perhaps a Triathlon. A Marathon. A Hyrox. 10,000 steps a day. Attending a new class. 

Just set your challenge and get training up to it. The magic exists in the working up. Prioritising this ‘you time’ a few times a week. I know we often feel there is no time but I promise you there is! I have been there and felt that way but you set it in the diary and then get support if you have kids or work . I now feel our Wild family are becoming the fittest we have ever been and I’m 8 months postpartum with 4 kids. Trust me you can! 

If you don't make time for exercise, you'll probably have to make time for illness.”

Movement is the medicine to getting you back feeling good and radiantly living. Once we feel more energy then I find it has a positive domino effect onto all areas of your life… relationships, mindset, confidence and your purpose. 

NATURE 

Get out in nature. I know it’s quite cliche but nature is the best therapy. Nature therapy as a concept has ancient roots and is thought to be rooted in basic evolutionary psychology. In fact, according to this study, “humans have spent 99.9% of their time [on Earth] living in a natural environment.” Nature therapy aims to reconnect modern humans with their evolutionary past by reigniting biophilia, the tendency to interact closely with and care deeply for the natural world, and thus healing mental health concerns related to human disconnect with the natural world.
